Why We Exist
Mission Statement
Remnant Community Outreach exists to heal the gaps faith forgot. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit [based in Memphis, TN and expanded to Atlanta, GA] working across the Bible Belt to bridge the divide between spirituality, justice, and wellness. We empower women, girls, and vulnerable communities through federal policy, faith-based organizing, spiritual harm reduction, advocacy, and healing initiatives that challenge stigma, transform systems, and center the sacred worth of every person.
Vision Statement
Remnant Community Outreach (RCO) envisions a world where Black women, girls, and marginalized people thrive in communities that honor their dignity, affirm their experiences, and provide equitable access to healthcare, brave spaces, mental health care access, and holistic wellness. Remnant Community Outreach imagines a world where compassion and outreach restore, policy protects, and where every person can live whole, free, and flourishing.
