A Mission to Heal and Empower
At the heart of her work is a deep commitment to accessible, culturally affirming care for Black women, girls, and marginalized communities. Dr. Elise creates brave spaces, places where individuals can show up fully, speak their truths, and begin the work of healing without judgment or shame. Through her nonprofit and ministry, she continues to bridge the gaps between faith communities, healthcare systems, and policy spaces to ensure that everyone has access to healing, wholeness, and hope.
“Remnant was born from a sacred ache. I wanted to build a space where people could bring both their pain and their praise, where advocacy and faith could hold trauma, truth, and transformation. My mission is simple: to make healing accessible, offer affirming service, and ensure justice for all becomes the norm.”
