Remnant Community Outreach is a 501(c)(3)-nonprofit organization based in Memphis, Tennessee (expanded to Atlanta, GA and the Bible Belt), advancing justice, safety, and healing for individuals and families navigating systemic harm and life-altering transitions. Our work centers people impacted by housing instability, healthcare inequity, and unjust policy—particularly those whose lives have been shaped by violence, exclusion, or chronic disinvestment. We operate at the intersection of education, policy, and advocacy, meeting immediate needs while confronting the systems that created them.
Through community-centered programs, Remnant builds pathways to stability, dignity, and long-term recovery. Our initiatives support survivors of domestic abuse in accessing safe, affirming housing and wraparound resources for vulnerable people; cultivate shared understanding and collaboration through dialogue and public education; and equip communities to engage policy processes with clarity and power. We believe safety is foundational, healing is collective, and justice must be both lived and structural.
Grounded in faith and guided by lived experience, Remnant also creates space for honest, liberating conversations that challenge harmful narratives and restore agency. Our work bridges faith, policy, healthcare, and housing to ensure people are not only supported in moments of crisis but resourced to thrive beyond them. At our core, Remnant is committed to making home safe, care accessible, and justice the norm - not the exception.
